nano windshield sealant

ís it safe to apply windshield sealant yourself? what are the brands you guys use? a friend of mind actuelly waxes his windshield

I apply sealants to my glass all the time. I've used the glass specific Glass Science Rain Clear Gel and I've used the Menzerna FMJ. Both work great and help sheet water away. The most important thing is to make sure it looks optically clear. Haze or streaks can be dangerous so just make sure you've fully removed the excess product. I sometimes even use a little quick detailer to ensure there are no streaks left. I've noticed that deep cleaning the glass first with the Glass Science Glass Scrub probably increases the durability of the sealant on the glass by several weeks.
