Paint Sealant + Cleaner Wax = no go?

I heard that after you use paint sealants on your car and if you decide to put a second layer of cleaner wax (say your typical meguiers or mothers product) i hear it messes with the sealant. is this true or have i been hearing bullsh8t?

I have read where lots of guys put a good Carnuba coat on last for the mirrored look...especially for shows.

Logically, this could make sense - if a cleaner wax has physical (i.e. abrasive) or chemical cleaners in it, it could remove some or all of the sealant while you're laying on a coat of wax... not what you'd want, certainly. Maybe use the OTC "cleaner wax" products as a faster, one-step option when you're tight on time... but use a high-quality carnauba wax if you've already properly sealed the paint and want something extra on top.

The information above is exactly what I would recommend. If you need specific product recommendations to optimize your process, please let me know.

cleaner wax will remove the sealant. The sealant will provide better protection than the cleaner AIO could.

Because many consumers are too busy, lazy, or apathetic to their vehicle's finish to do a multi-step detail. These people need a viable option, and the "cleaner wax" OTC through Auto Zone, Pep Boys, Advanced Auto Parts, etc., is the ideal product for them. My $0.02
