I've had good results with Magic Eraser on shoe scuff marks on fabric (door panels) or carpet stains but not plastic. I used it on the black plastic pull handles for my 3rd row seat and it turned them white-ish (like they were heavily oxidized). However, I was able to use Mother's Back to Black to restore them.

So I guess what I'm saying is you might want to test the reaction of the material you want to clean to Magic Eraser before going crazy.
