Klasse question (switching from Zaino)

I used to use Zaino. Well I say “used to” because the last Z5 bottle I bought has a different composition. It is a lot more thin/liquidy. I called them up. They said they changed it so that it is easier to apply. But the problem is it does not cover the swirls as easy as it used to (3 to 4 coats instead of 2.)

So, I am thinking about Klasse. Any new issues with that one?

who is your distributor? My Z5 hides swirls fairly well... what color is your Z5? The new stuff is a tan/orange color. Old stuff is white. You may have gotten a bad batch. Klasse is more difficult to use IMO, but it gives good results.

it is this family owned small shop ..

You are right the new version is orange color. I hope I got a bad one. I do not want to switch but I cannot go with the accelerator and put four coats every week (to get the same affect of two coats of the old stuff.) Why every week? Well, I have a black car :-)

I have the orange version now, but I can' t comment on the swirls because my car is virtually swirl free. Maybe you should try and remove some swirls and see how you like Z5? Do you have a PC? It's a fairly easy process and you'll get great results. Also, washing/drying is the leading cause of new swirls, so be sure to read Al's stickys. Finally, if you already know this, my apologies

I use Klasse religously.

You should not have nay issues as long as you use the proper application and removal techniques.

Klasse won't hide swirls though, so it may not be right for you. 500AMG is right on. Get a PC and some pads and polish and get your car swirl free b4 you use your sealant.
