Cleaning wax out of sand pits

I have a 91 300e dark gray which numerous small sand pits. PO had waxed it but the wax shows white against the paint. Any suggestion of how to de-wax the pits and go back with some dark color other than touch up paint.
Would a professional shop do anything with this??? Thanks you Smedley

What you can do is use wax that has dye in it so it dries dark gray inside the chips instead of white. I've been very happy with Turtle Wax Color Cure Kit on older paint that's less than perfect. A friends son had a friend with him whose's dad bought him a car at an insurance auction that was keyed on every panel. The car needed a complete paint job but he couldn't afford it. We used the Color Cure kit and from a few feet away the car looked great and he was very happy and less embarassed about driving the car.
