Zaino pics
Just Zainoed my 98 CL and am really happy with how it came out. The whole dawn, clay bar, z7 wash, 2 coats z5 and 1 coat z2 with z6 in between took all weekend, but it sure makes my 5 year old baby shine!
The pics are not the greatest (sorry they're so huge, I don't know how to make them smaller) and they don't do justice to how great the car looks, but I thought I'd post them anyway.

I'm using prehistoric technology (shoot on film and then scan - no digital camera). I noticed my first pic had lost of dust on it - made the car look terrible. I cleaned the print...hope this is better...

i had an oldsmobile cutlass ciera before i bought a mercedes. so i never really did any car care. but now i'm off polishing and waxing. i'm using meg gold class. something to begin with. hopefully i will start with something like zaino, especially when it is reflecting the houses off the car like that. very nice job.

The Zaino products are really easy to use and the results are really incredible. It still takes a long time to do it right, but it's worth it.
The only real downside of Zaino is that (at least here in Dallas) you can only get them by mailorder from Zaino in NJ.

Beautiful car and a great job! I'm in the middle of a Zaino detail now...taking a sandwich break.
I grabbed the last picture you posted and made a mask and did just a bit of edge sharpening. Then I cropped the edge of the scan. Most flatbed scanners will need a bit of sharpening, and if you use an edge-sharpening technique, you limit JPG artifacts.
Anyway, I think the sharpening really made that shine pop out. I'm attaching your image that I sharpened -- hope you don't mind.

Yeah definitely get some Zaino, or just take a photo of it without and have ctouhey work his magic with the picture and it'll look like you spent all weekend washing and waxing!
