Removing Deep Water Spots on Windows?
Hi;
I have an 06 W211 (E350) which I bought used last year.
The rear window has really bad water or other spots in it.
I just purchased the Diamondite window kit and used their spray clay product.
Unfortunately it make any difference - the window shines quite nicely, but the spots are still there (and very noticable looking through my rear view).
Any suggestions about how to tackle this?
I also have similar spots on the black metal trim around the car. The paintwork doesn't seem to have any issues that I can see (however, will be doing a deep clean and Klasse treatment in the near future).
Thanks in advance!

I've had good success removing water marks from glass with the Glass Science Glass Scrub. It does a great job of removing all kinds of build-ups on glass and giving it a deep cleaning. Get the glass wet and a foam applicator wet and apply a nickel sized drop on the applicator. With medium pressure buff on the Glass Scrub in a circular motion and then thoroughly rinse the area when you are done. Use firm pressure if needed for deeply embedded marks.
Let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with. Good Luck!

Have you tried some sort a cleaner/wax combo? Alot of people do not know that you can wax/buff windows as well as paint. That usually works pretty well. If that doesn't get it, you could always try a light clay bar. Last resort try some window cleaner or tar/adhesive remover with a little steel wool. I have been detailing cars for years, and most of these high dollar products I hear folks talking about are a complete waste of money.
