Gonna rub my baby this weekend....

Just got back from the auto store and picked up some goodies. Now, I'll preface this by saying I'm not really consistantly fanatical about detailing my car so some of the pro products that are used here by some of you are above my skills (and patience) but I do like to spend some time now and then to at least protect my investment to some degree. I also really need easy to use and "idiot proof" (if you will) products.

I picked up the following Meguiars products and thought I would just check here to get an opinion if I'm crazy to use product "x", if anyone thinks I should do "y" or just some general advice.... Here is what I got and what I was going to do....

Bought:
Meguiars Clay Bar
Meguiars Swirl X
Meguiars Cleaner Wax
Meguiars NXT
Meguiars Leather Cleaner and Conditioner Wipes
Meguiars Interior Wipes
Meguiars Tire Shine

Plan to:
Wipe interior with damp cloth
Use Meguiars wipes on interior
Wash with Dawn
Claybar whole car - front to back
Swirl X whole car - by hand (front to back motions?)
Cleaner Wax - by hand (Do you front to back this too or circular?)
NXT - by hand (Circular?)

Do I have the order correct? Any advice, thoughts or opinions?

Thanks....

Instead of swirl x, I would get Meguiars m205 and m105 as polishes. They will get the swirls out and if you do it by hand then you might as well invest in a robotic arm.

Thanks for the tip! I'll look into those polishes for the next time. I worked on the car yesterday.....my arms are dead....this was so much easier when I was in my 20's....lol...

I actually have an NXT question which I will post separately....
