I picked up my 2005 c230 sport over the weekend (only 23k miles!). The interior smells just like crayons on a hot day. I drove a few other c230's and they had a similar smell but not as strong. Is this normal? Is there a way to get rid of the smell?

I would take out the backseat and look around just ot be sure.

i have noticed the same smell in my CLK, i dunno i guess its probally when the sun hits the interior it gives off a smell.

have similar smell in my 00 S class. odd though because somedays its the nice MB Nappa leather smell but others its that smell.... and i dont care for it too much. Does leatherique effect smell?
