I'm a loser!
After washing my car this weekend, I was drying off my wheels, and thought - those could be cleaner. I took out my wheel brush and wasn't satisfied.
In the end, I had removed each wheel for cleaning and there was no brake dust to be seen! Once all 4 were done and I had it in the sun, it looked sweet! My wife thought I was nuts. She appreciated the attention to detail, but said not to bother on her ML.
Am I the only nut?

No way, you're not a loser. You are a car guy. Although I must admit that is not the most manly sounding description. But anyone on this board can give you some type of story that is similar in one way or another. Hell I had one car that I use to wash every morning. I missed classes in college when it was raining, becasue I did not want to drive the car and I could not get a ride elsewhere. So you are not different. If your wife thinks you are strange, just be sure to offer her the same level of attention, and the same type of wash. LOL

no way man you're not a loser thats awsome how you spent time on your rims its what is best for a Mercedes-Benz the need more attention than a woman lol. I always love to hear stories like yours makes me feel better when I know there are more and more car guys out there. I am actually going take my wheels off and clean them inside and out this weekend hopfully. I have a 1987 190E 2.3-16V Its my baby and such a fun and perfect car to drive it deserves only the best as does your Mercedes
