Anyone use ScratchX and regular wax?
I need to work on some fine spiderweb swirls next time I clean the car. I need to wax, but I'd like to try the scratchX as well. If I apply the X first, then the wax, am I wasting my time?
Will the waxing step remove whatever substance the X puts on?

scratch X is a mild abrasive...its like swirl remover #9 but is only applied by hand. So it really does not leave any sort of protective 'substance' on the paint. Therefore you should definitely put a coat of wax or a paint sealant on as the final step.
