Chrome Exhaust Pipe Cleaner?
What do you guys recommend I use to clean heat/burn marks on the exhaust pipe (chrome)? Is there also anything that can be applied to protect it? Thoughts appreciated.

I would use steal wool and a metal polish, the steal wool may sound scary but you'll need it to get off the heavy burn marks and grime, afterwards I would give it a couple coats of wax or polish and just make sure you wash it each time you wash your car, thats what I do. Good Luck
P.S. go easy with the steal wool at first and not hard right away to that you dont leave heavy swirls, you should be OK. Then buff out with a cotten towel.

I have been using a German metal polish for many years called Happich Simichrome metal polish.....Works on the discoloration WITHOUT steel wool or other abrasive applicators.

The stuff is imported by a firm in your neck of the woods:
Competition Chemicals, Inc. Located in Iowa Falls, Iowa. Give them a buzz for a dealer near you. I also think that it's available through Speciality Auto accessory catalogs like "Griot's garage" etc.

I use a product called "NevrDull". It is an impregnated wadding that comes in a can. Just tear off wahtever amount you need to use. It works great on all types of unpainted metal. The stuff is available at most hardware stores.
