ML320 Detail
I finally have a bit of free time to post up pics. A friend asked me if I can detail his wife's ML320, 2 weeks ago. I already had an idea of what I was in for, but I didn't think it was going to be like this...The full detail took me ~48hours spread over 4 days.
Materials Used:
Meg's deep crystal shampoo
Dawn
Plush MF wash mitt
2 bucket wash
Various brushes
Folex
Carpet Brushes
Griot's leather car
Griot's leather rejuv
SV wheel & leather brushes
Adam's UC Spray
PC7424XP
PBW SSR2.5 & SSR1
Menz PO85rd
Klasse AIO & Sealant
Meg's Gold Class Carnauba Yellow Wax
Tons of MF towels
Onto the pics. Here's some before shots
After wash & under the halogens, I could clearly see what I was really in for...
That was just the passenger side, but the entire car looked like someone took a steel wool pad and washed the car with it. There were also a ton rock chips everywhere and a lot of rids. The roof was the least trouble, except for some etching from bird droppings that were left to eat the paint. Here's the results after those 4 days. I'd say it a good 85% correction as I didnt chase down all the rids due to time constraints.

The ML's seem like a smaller SUV until you start polishing them. 
I still have yet to give my ML320 a good going over. I hope the results are half as good as yours!!
