glue on dash removal help!

Piece of velcro was on dash.. and after removing said velcro the stickiness is lingering.. ESPECIALLY the corner edges have become raised and very hard. I tried Goop Off and some WD40.. I have no clue what to do.

The edges are raised and so hard. WTF!?

I am not really worried about the yellow parts as I got most of that off with my fingernail.

Here is a pic. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Finally got some of the 3M Adhesive Remover.. no joy. It didn't clean up the center, but the edges have changed little to not at all.

Use some duct tape, wrap it around your ahnd and pat the adhesive, you may have to repeat, clean any residue with 3M Adhesive Remover

Will try, thanks. But I don't think it will work. The edges are SOOO hard.

FYI- I take it that you are allowing the solvent to dwell for a few minutes before removing?

Hi. I am scared to let it sit. I probably let it sit for 30 seconds or so. When I go to clean it off, I see some of the dash color come off on the rag. You think I should try leaving it longer still?
