Caring for the E55 Seats? What to use?
Anyone have a good tip on treating the seats in the E55 (or your W210 vehicle)? I have a 2001 E55, with charcoal/ruby red pattern (not ventilated). I keep the car garaged, but since I live in Las Vegas, I figure I might need to give more thought to the treatment of the leather.
I have used Zaino products for the exterior, and tried their Z-10 Leather in a Bottle (Treatment and Condioner) one time. The next day I could see a thin white haze where I had applied the Z-10. It easily cleared up with a water moistened cloth. I suspect the only problem is the perforated seats allow some of the product to get trapped unless you thoroughly rub it in, which I probably didn't, whereas, the sections of leather on the door coverings are not perforated, and the problem of residue is unlikely.
Any reason to use the Z-9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner prior to using the Z-10, if the seats are still new (4,000 miles), and not soiled?
What other interior care products are recommended?

I use nothing but Lexol leather conditioner on my Mercedes cars; have for years without a single problem. Mequiars makes a good one too, especially since they make the Mercedes OEM one! Otto

Thats it... they are the masters of that game and they should be... they have been doin it for years. The products are excellent and much easier to use. The results are phenomenal and it seems to help preserve the leather over time.
