Question Unable to debadge. Need help

I'm not sure if this is the right section or not. Previously when I debadged my Infiniti all it required was floss and goo gone.

Now when I tried to debadge my c250 and floss just snaps off. Not sure where to go from here. I could try using fishing line but I'm not sure that will work.

I'd appreciate some advice on how to get this done.

Try adding some heat to the the area of the badge in question. A hair dryer is usually enough heat to soften the glue under the badge. Then proceed as you have been doing. Maybe try a heavier floss.

Some badges and model identifiers have studs that are placed into drilled holes in the bodywork

I used fishing line on my AMG and I sawed back and forth and it worked fine. Keep an eye out for those plastic studs TOGWT mentioned.

I ended up using an NYC metro-card in order to remove the badges lol. Came off super easy.
