Dealer exterior treatment, is it worth it?
I am planning on purchasing a new car and was wondering, what people thought about those protective coatings the dealer tries to sell when purchasing a new car. Is it worth it? And what do they actually apply? I know they charge a fair amount of money to treat the car and I would actually rather do it myself end use the money they would charge elsewhere in other options, or filling the tank with gas.
Thanks

Befor you sign up for this type of 'tratment' read the small print, they have so many 'get out of jail' clauses that its not worth the paper its written on.
Find a reputable detaler (Autopia’s Professional Detailer’s Directory - http://www.autopia.org/find-professi...iler/index.php) and have a coating (Opti-Caot) applied, this will provide real world durability paint protection for years as opposed to weeks or months
