David Bynon was the owner of autopia. Personally, he was always nice to me and never had any issues with him. It was "his" forum, so I guess he had the right to ban whom ever he wanted to. I am just saying.

We are the most unbiased forum out there. If you post something, it stays there. We do not delete posts.

You can't say that about any of the other detailing forums. Those are heavily moderated and closely watched.

Anyway

David is out of the detailing business, sold autopia.org to 3D in 2009.

Autopia only sells 3D and HD products.

Autopia still has the same posted junk that was there three years ago, so what is the difference?
It was a elitist nut gallery then and there is no indication that it has changed.

How can anyone know they won't get the autopia virus if they visit there? I googled autopia virus and there is page after page of posts talking about people who's computers were infected with self replicating viruses, malware, spyware, and warnings not to go to the site.

There was another episode where the while site locked up on one page for days.
Afterwards they lost so many sponsors and followers, Autopia became a sinking ship.
They decided to get rid of it autopia while they still could.
This was not the first time autopia passed on malware to visitors computers.
The concensus was that management was aware of the infection but failed to warn members. People were furious.
Either buyer ignorance or the "autopia jedi mind trick" allowed them to off load it to someone else.
The new owners did not make any effort to clean up any garbage posts attacking businesses, members and products they did not sponsor.

They made no effort to reach out to banned members and inform them there was new management and the banning was a error of past management.
The new management made no effort to seperate themselves from autopia's negative reputation. You still see David Bynon mark all over it, like they are proud of the association with the person who gave autopia such a bad reputation.

As far as most people are concern, it is the same old
"visit at your own risk" Autopia with new sponsors.

Common Mr. Jerry Pittman, do you really think the good people of this forum are going to buy into your spam? You’ve been banned not just from Autopia.org, but almost every other forum you’ve signed up on to shill your crappy product. I’ve tried your miracle Acrylic Paint Conditioner and it’s a joke. I’d rather use the cheapest brand from Target then this stuff. I can honestly say this is the only product I’ve used that actually made my paint look worse. Your videos are even a bigger joke.

I also see your panties are still in a bunch over the whole Autopia incident almost 3 years ago where you tried yet again shilling your product under 3 separate user names, each time being outed and banned in a failed effort to again shill your product. The fact that you did not have enough sense to realise Enamel and Acrylic paint do not react the same to buffing.
You cannot use enamel restoration processes and products on modern automotive acrylic paint and expect the same results.
