Whiteout FR-S Opti Guarded

Hello all, Mike here again. The whiteout FR-S you are going to see today is a referral from my first FR-S customer. The car is less than one week old, and the owner instructed the dealer to NOT wash his car. I'm happy to say that it came with very little defects in the paint. It, however, needed a full decontamination process. For those of you wondering how contaminated a new car's paint could really be? Please see the following set of pictures:

Iron removal process:

I then foamed the entire car down before washing it via the 2 bucket method:

See the reflection? Bet you didn't know a white car can reflect objects like a dark color car would!

2013 E350 Wagon, prev 2005 ML 500 SE
nice!!

Very nice job.
That's really a deep shine on a white paint.

Will a brand new Mercedes E in Iridium Silver shine like that?
How are the new E's (from Germany) on contamination when delivered to US??

I'm really leaning toward wash, light clay, light polish, Opti 2.0.
Is that the Opti you used? Did you do wheels too?
Would carnuba over Opti be even better or not worth the extra effort?

Where are you located?
Thanks

Thank you!
Of course an Iridium Silver E would shine like that. The new E's I'm guessing would be as contaminated as this as far as iron contamination goes.
I did not do the wheels as I didn't have a way to lift up the car and take the wheels off. Opti Guard was used to protect the paint. It is the professional version of Opti Coat.
Carnauba over opti coat is not really worth the effort as the wax would not bond to it properly
