SpeedFreak Detailed: Ex NFL star's '68 GTO Resurrection
***Posting this detail from early September***
This car has a very interesting story. A certain ex NFL star (#56 for the Redskins) owned the car, and it was originally built by Unique Autosport of NY. Most of you are probably familiar with the shop and it's owner Will Castro, of the "Unique Whips" show on MTV. Wheels are DEFINITELY not my cup of tea, and the owner is currently deciding on replacements.
Fast forward to today. The car has a new owner, has gone through 3 engines, sat for 3 years, and appears to have been washed with steel wool.:help
I was contacted to bring the car's finish up as much as possible in two days. I took as many photos as I could, but unfortunately didn't get many outside shots as I finished a few minutes before the owner arrived to pick it up. It's not perfect by any means, and could probably stand to be wet sanded in a lot of areas. That being said, it looks much better than before.
This is definitely a "pictures speak for themselves" type of job. I hope everyone is sitting down, let the HORROR show begin!!
