Paint Panels or Paint the Whole Thing
My 03 Ml500 got keyed on the hood, fender, and front door. Also my bumper got scratched by some idiots at Home Depot and their fork lift. The paint on the other areas looks perfect. I'm trying to decide whether to ge these 4 items painted or just get the whole thing painted? What's the difference in cost?

The difference in cost will probably be quite a bit. Especially if it is done right - door handles and all trim off, etc. But cost is probably not really the biggest issue. The main thing is having more non-factory paint than you need. Unless you go to a super top-flight place, it is almost never as good - dust nibs, some roughness around the edges, overpsray in door jams. etc. As long as the color match is good, which it usually is these days, I'd paint as little as possible.
