I discovered a tear in my 09 C300 drivers seat. Wasn't caused by sharp object, or by abuse. In center of seat, near the backrest. Any ideas why this occured or how to fix it? Thanks

Grit or dirt on the seating surfaces may have abraded the finish making it weak enough that it would tear.
