tree sap on windshield

Hi all,

I seem to have very very tiny drops of what I am guessing is tree sap across the windshield, I was wondering if could use a clay bar on the glass?

Or is there another technique to get the glass looking like new?

Thanks in advance

I use clay bar on my wheels, chrome, and glass. Make sure you strip off the clay lube with some good glass cleaner. However, I'd try some goo-gone or other turpine cleaner first. If it really is sap, this will get the job done.

It sounds as if you parked under a deciduous tree, in which case the droplets are not exactly sap and will come off with car shampoo. If it is sap, a couple of wipes with rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth will do the trick pretty quickly.
