Just got some Meguires Wax

Allright Guys

I just bought some Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid car wax

i heard this is good so i bought some at my local pep boys.

now i have read Albostons sticky on waxing but there one part i am confused on. or a couple actually

1) Lightly mist the applicator with a Quick Detail spray....

i thought after i wash the car and dry it i can immediately wax?

also im not sure as to apply in circular motion or back and forth.

also what kind of wax is this gold class stuff. it doesnt say carnuba on it like all the other waxes i saw

thanks

any other tips you guys have you are more than welcome to post

this will be my first waxing job on my car

Yea u dont have to mist the applicator if u dont want to. Sometimes it just helps the product go on thinner, which will make it easier to remove. use back and forth motions. Also have 100% cotton made in USA bath towels to wipe off the wax.

I honestly forgot how to use gold class.... I haven't touched the bottle in like 4 years. Id say apply it using a back and forth motion and let it set up for like a minute or 2 then try taking it off. Experiment with it! then post saying which way worked the best. Microfiber towels will be fine, I hope they aren't microfibers from autozone or walmart, those will scratch your finish. Also, use little to no pressure when taking off the wax haze with the towels. Also when applying, less is more! Don't goop the wax on the paint, apply it thinly.
