Body shop paint is too light, OEM is too dark!

So maybe if anyone can answer these I can figure out what the hell to do.
Thank you in advance.

Does metallic paint dry darker or lighter?
Does adding a drop or two of lacquer lighten/darken the paint?
Does adding clear coat to touch up paint lighten/darken it?
Does feathering (adding layers) lighter or darken it?
Can you lighten a darker touch up when feathering?
Can you darken a lighter touch up when feathering?

Or can you refer me to a forum that would know this?
