Hey! How come my thread's rating is downed one star??!!!
Anyway, got a call from the upholstery shop that my insurance has approved the 2-tone full OEM leather conversion on the seats, and I'll also get a new head liner and hatch cover!
Now I'm starting to praise about my stupidity and for the type of deal that I get from a $100 deductable.
Too bad I was too busy moving during the holiday so I didn't have time to snap a shot of the cleaned steering wheel and dash board, because I really think I did a great job cleaning the vinyl surfaces. Now the shop will re-dye those surfaces to get rid of the odor... what a waste of the time that I spent on cleaning them up!
I'll get the car back at the end of next week, then I'll show a pic of the new interior.

And, for anybody who does not believe this story was true:
1. I am not a rich guy nor a rich kid from a wealthy family who has too much time and money to wreck my car and then try to make up a fake story to get sympathy from the people on the internet.
2. The paint was caught under and behind the passenger seat and I was on the driver seat. Now go to sit on the driver seat of your car, leave the door open, and then imagine yourself picking something up from the floor behind the passenger seat and take it outside the car. Now draw out the flow line of the object.

Best of luck from <a href="http://usastreetracing.com/sr">usastreetracing.com</a>
at first I thought it was a photochop, but It technically is possible (although very odd the way it went down, lol) so we'll take your word for it. so...
judging by the H-U-G-E drips mark on the airbag and since there is no paint on the cluster, the wheel HAD to have been turned 1/2 counterclockwise when this happened. (that could be why there is no paint on the windshield)
and the spray pattern on the door could only have happened if it was sprayed from the lower left corner of the pic.
The clincher would be a pic of your pants!!!

That's quite an infuriating dilemma. Quite a blow to the left nut. Luckily, the Benz have nice leather interior - up until you get paint on it, that really jacks **** up. The time spent on cleaning and covering up the permanent damage it may have done to your electronics and interior, just wouldn't be worth effort. Replace the interior.
