Ok, every 5 days, my `92 600SEL has wheels that are so black, you can`t see a thing. When I use a brush to clean it, the wheels look so much better but they still have a yellowish tint to them. Last week, I took it to the dealer to fix the side mirror that some as*hole tore off. It actually slammed against the passengers window. you guys don`t know how much they wanted to get it fixed. Anyways, when I picked it up from the dealer, the wheels were so clean! Looks like they were brand new (except for one that had the coating damaged)! I learned never to use any abrasive wheel cleaners. What does the dealer useÉ

I like to use p21s wheel cleaner. It works very well. I also waxed my wheels so the brake dust is easier to take off.

If the wheels were hot they probably used acid, and that could have ruined them
