2015 450 Gl Leather or MB Tex? Cilajet or any other protection product?

2015 450 Gl Leather or MB Tex? Cilajet or any other protection product?
I am going through the head ache of making the right and expensive decisions of ordering a new car, a 450GL.
I usually keep our cars for about 10 years. I love the look of leather but fear it would age quickly and look bad. If i was confident that yearly care would keep it looking new than I don't mind spending the money for leather.
The other is the question of dealer applied "protection" for the exterior and interior; Cilajet; Perma plate etc. One dealer states the other does not work.
Is it all bull... and i should just have it detailed regularly and go with MB Tex too?
