04' SL500 Leather Care?
Hi Guys,
I just picked up a 2004 SL500 last week (Brilliant Silver/Ash) and would like to know what product everyone recommends to clean the leather? It is perforated so I'm a bit afraid to just use a normal leather product.
Wondering if I should also Zaino my car?

Congrats on the car! The SL's have some of the most beautiful lines of any car out there...and yes, Zaino would improve them even more! 
As far as the leather, I've always just been real careful as to the amount of product I've put on perforated leather (have solid now, so not a concern). If you want to treat it (personally, I like the Zaino leather care products), put whatever product on the towel in a thin coat so you're not pressing it into the holes-kinda rub it into the towel so you don't have globs, then be gentle with it . It takes a while to get the feel of how much you can put on before causing problems. I will admit to one time putting too much on and having to get out the Shop-Vac to suck out the extra product from the perforations (just put some tape on the end of the hose attachment so you don't scratch the leather).

We use the Lexol conditioner. It comes in a brown bottle...you can get it at autoparts stores. It's good for any leather...so seats, shoes etc.
