Should I be worried? '99 C280 and small rust spots
Hi everyone,
Is it even worth it to get this fixed or looked at? I bought this car for a fairly cheap price and have fallen in love with it.
The rust is starting to bubble in certian spots though. It would have to be cut out and new metal welded on, correct? That is probably costly...but I do love this car.
Pics are below. Thoughts? First thing I did when I got this car in October was to wash, claybar, polish and then wax it. Since then though I haven't been able to clean her up. Its been raining/snowing here in VA. Salt I know is super bad for rust.
I put 2 coats wit Menzerna Synthetic wax.

I would leave it alone... No doubt it will continue to smolder but I would get a quote from a few bodyshops and then decide if you want to leave it alone
