anyone know where i can get one. i have this crap stuck on my car....used the clay, but that doesn't remove it. went to a local body shop...they used a little bit of this polish, non-abrasive synthetic type...took out some of it.. forgot to ask them, but does anyone know what i'm talking about? and where i can get it?

a pic of the "crap" or a description of it would help greatly

our apartment includes a supermarket...and it is above the parking lot... i'm on the first floor of the parking lot...above me is the runoff pipes of the supermarket...apparently, the one above my car is somewhat clogged or something...it overflows sometimes...and gets on my car...mostly passenger side rear door. it feels sticky and nasty when new...but once dried up...it sticks like crazy... i don't drive the cars often...so sometimes i don't notice until too late. luckily, the c36 was moved to a different stall b4 this happened... but it has dropped on 4 times on the volvo...the first being the worst...

here's a pic of it... i got rid of most of the stuff on the window...but there's stuff on the paint....

try rubbing alcohol, that should take care of it. put it on a cotton ball and let it dwell on the "crap". Then wipe with a clean towel.

~One man’s opinion /observations~

As suggested try Isopropyl (available at most pharmacy’s) if that doesn’t work try paint cleaner like P21S.
Apply with a straight-line motion with a clean dry Microfiber cloth.

I know it’s difficult to know what the “crap” is as it depends where the origin of that pipe is, roof rain runoff, or more likely wastewater from your description of ‘stickiness’’.

~Hope this helps~
