I'm picking up a black '04 sl500 next week...can anyone recommend a really good hand car wash/ detailing place in the city or suburbs (northern or western)?

Most of the folks on here are DIY detailers, but someone might be able to check in and give out a recommendation in your part of the world. If not, try autopia.com's forums. It's a detailer's paradise.
OR, btw, PM Vraa. If you pay for his flight, and let him pilot your sled some, he'll probably do the entire Zaino process from Dawn to 5 coats of Z for free
