Dealer sticker removal

I just bought a 2014 E350 in Palladium silver. The finish looks great but I am wondering if anyone could suggest the best product or method to remove the dealer sticker from the trunk? I don't want to scratch the paint with my fingernails or damage the paint with harsh chemicals.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

It is a piece of cake to remove. Often WD40 works just fine. Use your fingernail to lift the sticker. There are other products available at any hardware store that are designed to dissolve the adhesive. Make sure to use nothing more than a fingernail to lift an edge of the sticker.

Thanks for the feedback. I was concerned about using anything like WD40 because I wasn't sure it was safe on the paint but after further research, it sounds like it is safe and works well.

I used a hair dryer (@ medium heat setting) and "dental floss" string to remove a dealer decal. It took only few minutes to remove. After removing I washed the area with hand wash mitten and applied some car polish. Time spent 15 minutes.

Thanks all for the advice. I used a hair dryer and it was an easy peel after that.

Goo Gone is a good product. It can remove the stickers without damaging the paint.
