Zaino, 3M, or Klasse... Please Help!

I am a new 430 ('99 with 20k miles) owner, and am just a notch shy of obsessed with keeping my ride looking tight. It is close to being a daily driver (maybe 4 days a week), but I want it to look like a show car.

I have read many threads on various products, but all I've cocluded so far is that Leatherique is the hands down choice for leather care. When it comes to exterior care products, which of the three I mentioned is best for a black car? I have fairly signifigant swirling, but otherwise, my paint's in good condition.

Many seem to prefer Zaino, but I know a detailer who swears by 3M... and isn't Klasse the 'official' Mercedes choice?

Help!

Also, who makes the best interior dressing for rubber/vinyl?

Thanks.

I love Zaino. Klasse is really good too but doesn't last as long.

OK... that helps. Zaino is comparable in results to Klasse, but offers greater duration.

Awiner, have you used the 3M products at all?

I have used 3M products before. I still use 3M polsihing compound now and then.

3M makes good product as well, but nothing that is like Zaino/Klasse (being synthetic polish).

What causes you to use the 3M polish? Is it to remive swirling (i.e. better than Zaino for this application)?

Yes, the 3M polishing compound would be used to remove swirls if need be. Zaino Z5 will fill slight swirls, however, the best way to takle swirls is to remove them with a polishing compund before working on the topcoat to seal and protect.

Thanks Awiner! That pretty much gives me what I'm looking for. I think I'll pick up a bottle of 3M Polishing compound, and the entire Zaino car care kit.
