Paint Chip !!! looking for some advice
Hey Guys !
So weeks ago I had someone bump into my rear while i was at a red light. -_-
I have a GLC300 in white with the night package. I had a clear bra applied on the front portion and ceramic coating over that and throughout the rest of the exterior.
He hit my bumper going at a slow speed and his lisence plate left somewhat of a mark. I guess the ceramic coating helped a bit with some of the scratch parts as I was able to rub it off with my finger. Only thing is there are 2 small small paint chips but since my car is white, you can see the 2 black marks .
I'm almost wondering if i had the clear bra applied in the back would that have helped with the paint chip.
Looking for some advice on what I should do. I have the paint correction.
Is it safe to get one of those small fluid writer pens to dab some white paint into the chip and do it myself?
I contacted some shops in and around my area, they are charging me around 60-80 bucks for them to fill in the chips. If i wanted them to repaint the bumper that would be around 400 bucks which sounds not like the most practical decision for 2 small chips.
What I really want is to just fill it in but have it fully blended in and not even noticable.
Any input on my situation would be much appreciated!
And here I was trying to prevent my car from having any scratches and chips at all -_-

Leave them or have the whole bumper painted. Personally I'd rather see two small chips like that than some half-assed attempt to cover them up. A repaint also won't look the same as the original Mercedes paint.
Did you just walk away without getting all of their info?

I second Dr. Color Chip. For about $50 its a pretty easy and straight forward fix that is about as close as your going to get having a body shop respray it,$$$. Done correctly you really have to look at it to see it was repaired.
