Sandy Windshield

My family has three MBs and all three have sandy specs in the windshield. I think they get sandblasted from driving and the stuff doesn't come out. Is there some way to remove this crap or at least prevent it from getting worse?

I use Castrol Accuvision™, it will not 'sand proof' your windsheild but it does help. I live right on the beach so I use it and always keep the car windsheild covered when not driving.
lClean and thoroughly dry glass surface
·Spray Castrol Accuvision ™ on to a clean dry 100% cotton towel and apply to glass surface with firm, overlapping strokes.
·Allow drying to a haze and re-applying to ensure complete coverage.
·Finally remove with a clean, damp 100% cotton towel.
Remove from painted surfaces by flushing with water, do not use on plastic, as it will cause ‘fogging’.

~Hope this helps~
