Prevent Bug Damage?
Is there a way to prevent bugs from imbedding themselves in the paint on the front of the car, bumber etc. I drive up north a lot and my old Jeep was covered with white bug marks that I couldn't buff out. How do I keep this from happening to the M class?

~One man’s opinion / observations ~
By applying a clear 12Mil plastic (X-Pel™) to paint surfaces will protect the surface underneath from marring and is available in 3/8th, 2” and 4” widths. Use on the front end of the hood, doorsills, around the fender wells, inside doorjambs or the loading areas of SUVs.
To apply, clean the area with a mild solvent and let dry, cut the material to length required, spray the area with positioning spray supplied. Remove the #m adhesive backing, taking care not to touch the surface as it the oils from your fingers will leave a mark that will show through once the plastic has been applied. Use the supplied squeegee to smooth out the plastic and remove any air bubbles.
Do not use on plastic bumpers or re-painted vehicles.
~Hope this helps~
