Do wraps affect sensors
Hi all,
i'm new to detailing and I am planning on using a PPF to fully protect the paint of my coming E63 S.
i found out on Tesla forums and even car detailers (https://bayareadetails.com/teslamodelx1.html) that wrapping, especially with a PPF, affects the sensors and it has to be cut on those areas.
is is really impressive to think how an apparently simple thing like this can affect a car electronics and sensors. even window tints can affect light sensors (read some reports from MB users)!
and for the more picky with these stuff, i found out that vinyl or PPF wrap can add 6 to 9 pounds of weight...
anyway, does anyone knows of issues with sensors and other electronics after wrapping a MB car, in particular an E63?
