Drying Towels

I bought a drying towel and the instructions say it is to be used wet.

I am not sure how I would use it wet. I would appreciate any advice. How DOES one use a wet towel to dry?

What brand of towel? What type, chamios,"The Absorber", or a "waffle towel?
I know chamois and the absorber needs to be damp to work. Just wet it then wring out so it's "damp" wring it out after you use it for a while(you will see it's just isn't drying all the way.

Thanks jonw440. So I dry using a wet towel? Feels counterintuitive but I'll give it a try.

I assume you dab with the towel -- not wipe.

To get the towel ready to use:
soak the towel so it's saturated "completely" with water. Then wring out all the water you can. Then it's ready to use. (Just like a face cloth except wring it out so no more water drips out) You just want the towel "damp"

I guess I'm using the same thing. I use those yellow or blue synthetic cloths that are sold in car shows and flea markets. Wet it, wring it out, unfold it, hold it at opposite ends, and drag it....it works as a squeegee and absorber at the same time. You can dab the small areas. If you don't strangle it to get every last drop out, just swipe the same area again.
