E Cup Holder & Leather Seat cleaning
'01E430: Anyone know how to clean the cup holder on the E. I assume there must be something that can be sprayed in there - and I hope the residue flows somewhere - or does the entire assembly have to be taken apart??? Mine's getting tiny bits of "stuff" falling in there and it'll need cleaning soon
I have the MB leather care thing and have used it once. Problem is that the white cleaner gets into the perforated portions of the seats and don't disappear for a long time - and I (mostly my darling wife!!!) have to sit on it for all that time. Any tips on cleaning the seats w/o maknig a mess?
Lastly, where can I purchase the MB windshield washer fluid. I like it better than the regular blue liquid.

I hate the MB seat care stuff, I had that same problem. Try pinnacle leather conditoner or better yet leatherique. You can find them at these websites

Thanks AlBoston. Yep, my next step was to get the Pinnacle stuff. BTW, how's your ML holding? I have been debating about getting one but the press (internet press mostly) has been so bad about it's quality and it's discouraging. Have you had to take it in several times for minor stuff?? Thanks.

Its been alright i suppose, The problem is not really with the car. The car had a little rattle from the rear cargo area, one dealer fixed it and it was just about gone. But then it came back and I went to the same dealer, and they don't offer loaner cars anymore, so me figuring that another mb dealer can do just as good a job I took it to the one in boston. Well, they looked at the moonroof to repair a goop that keeps appearing on it, they removed insulation and never reinstalled it! Now it rattles bad, also the rear cargo area shudders and rattles like crazy now because of their damn service dept. I am taking it to another dealer to have them fix it, I will give u an update. Other than that, we had squeaky brakes(fixed), lumpy transmission(fixed), and the fuel sending unit(fixed). None of those fixed problems have returned knock on wood. I really like the new ML500 sports in capri blue. I want to get one, but i want it to be perfect and solid, not rattling like ours is. I love the look of that specific truck!
