Smile Protecting wood trim

Just wondering what is best to use on wood trim to keep it looking new and not faded. It seems to have a polyurethane type of clear coat over the burr walnut type of wood trim (1988 300SE).
Thanks. John.[FONT=Arial][SIZE=1]

~ One man’s opinion / observations ~

The wood trim in most vehicles is protected with a urethane clear coat, polyurethane or a thin lacquer, which is very easily scratched. Remove scratches with a fine polish (Groit's Fine Hand Polish) and then wipe with a damp 100% cotton towel.

Maintenance- use an anti-static plastic cleaner protecterant BTI Chemicals Plexus@ Glass Polish & Cleaner)

~Hope this helps~

If the wood has no scratches I would use a NON cleaner wax" Pure carnuaba wax NOT a cleaner wax. Like P21S or Pinnicle Soverian (Smells great)
P21S and Pinnicle waxes
Another option is a plastic polish cleaner. (I use this on both of my Mitsubishi Rear Projection HDTV tv's).
Plexus Polish

JohnB I did not think to look for a location... If Meguire's is available try #18 Clear Plastic Detailer or if you can obtain 3M line of products, 3M Plastic Cleaner

~Hope this helps~
