New Car / Must have things to do after delivery
Hi,
I am getting a new Merc SUV and was wondering what are the must do detailing things I should do right after my delivery.

What I have in mind is:
  • Opticoat PRO + PPF (Opticoat PRO on top of Paint Protection Film)
  • 303 fabric guard
  • Gtechniq leather guard
Please feel free to correct/advise.

Be sure to decontaminate after washing with iron remover & clay. Also suggest polishing before coating paint. Carpro essence is a good polishing option.

The 303 protectant is also a good product for rubber and plastic pieces.

Oil change
It's not related to car cleaning but with any new car, change the oil and filter at 500 or 1000 miles. That will make a huge improvement to the long term reliability of the engine. Don't wait for 10k miles or even 5k.
