Recomended wax for Black finish?
1ST is to use carnuaba wax(P21S,Pinnacle,etc) the other is to use a sealant like Klasse All in one and High Gloss sealant glaze or Autoglym Resin polish and extra Gloss Protection.
Another way is to use BOTH. Protect the paint with a sealant then use the carnuaba wax for a deeper depth of reflection.
I personally use Autoglym twins then P21S as a topper.(I'm a reformed Klasse addict) Autoglym wipes off so much easier and I think the look on black is deeper and more reflective.
Be sure to "prep the paint"
Take care of any swirl marks(Those ugly hologram looking marks you see on black cars when they are in the direct sunlight)
I like to use Sonus SFX Polishes.
SFX1 is a heavy duty polish that will remove ALL paint defects. Then follow up with SFX2 this will really bring the shine out!
The SFX3 is the finishing polish. It just brings the gloss to the next level.
To protect apply the Autoglym Super Resin Polish. Simply rub it on the paint and wipe it off. no need to let it "haze over:.
For the final Sealant application, "spread" the Extra Gloss protection(EGP) thinly as it just needs to be wiped on the paint. Let this set up for an hour then simply wipe off. No buffing or heavy rubbing.
Then if you want you can add more of the EGP or go straight to the P21S carnuaba wax.
If you decide to add the P21S you can NOT add more EGP.
I like to have three layers of the EGP THEN add the P21S.

Also be sure to use a quality Micro fiber towel. I only use Sonus, but Paksack has good ones too.
