Magno Paint shop recommendation PLEASE
Hello to all .. I am in desperate need for advise . I live in Miami FL and just bought an SL 63 from an MB dealer in California ..it was in stock and ready to ship thats why , the car is a Blue Magno paint ..right yesterday when the shipper was picking up the car the salesman saw a scratch on the hood and they called right away telling me about ..of course I cancelled the pickup and now I am stuck trying to find out what to do .. the scratch is only surface nonetheless its visible and on the top of the hood . The dealer is in West Covina , California ..theyre offering to send it to their " Mercedes Certified " body shop .. dont know yet the name of the body shop but will know it soon ...I cant begin to describe my disappointment BUT I dont want to lament I would rather concentrate on whats the best course of action ... I let the do it knowing very well that Magno paint isnt for the faint of heart ...and not everyone can do it ..also I am not there for me to inspect and approve the results ...OR have the car shipped here to Miami and have it done here I only can think of One shop whom I would trust near me but I dont know yet of they have experience in Magno paint but wil find otu once they open this morning . I know for sure that the whole hood must be painted as there is no touching up or so called blending for that paint . Any advise or recommendation is greatly appreciated .
