Covering Car While Hot

Is it okay to use a car cover when the car is still hot? On occasion I leave my car out, and I didn't know if I should let it cool down before covering it. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I would let it cool down before putting the cover on.

Thanks. Somewhere in the deep recesses of my mind I seem to recall something advising against covering a hot car.

Me too. However, the only good reason I can think of is that you are trapping heat and slowing dissipation. That can not be good for paint.

CLK320,

Uncovered it shall remain, or at least until it's cool!

Thanks!
