Window Sticker Removal

I have a pretty tough sticker on my front windshield. It's a military access sticker (from my friend I bought the car from) that is made out of the same stuff as license plate stickers. I'm pretty sure that it won't come off in one piece nice and easy.

My question is, how do I get the sticker off without scratching up the window? Does anyone know of any tricks?

I assume that I'll scratch the windshield up if I take a razor blade to it.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

use a brand new blade and plenty of window cleaning fluid. Or you can wet the sticker and take fine 0000 steel wool to it.

I remove my Navair base vehicle decals with Groit's Adhesive remover and a plastic razor blade (or a plastic kitchen spatula, just don't tell the wife/GF)

A brand new single edge razor blade on a hot windshield. (Or heat the decal ONLY with a hair dryer) Glue residue will come off easy as could be with Naphtha, or Ronsonol Lighter fluid (same as Naptha just 10x more expensive for old style Zippo lighters with wicks) Or Bug & Tar Remover (same as Naptha just 10x more expensive) Don't dribble Naphtha on dash pad it won't melt it, it just dries it out needlessly)
