First Post on this forum :p . Happy to see a Diesel Only section. I normally hang-out at Benzworld 
, but visit this site reularly and now registered because of the "Diesel Only" forum 
. I have recently purchased a 1995 w124 E300 Diesel with 104k miles on the clock. My first diesel, I have been really enjoying the learning experience of owning a Diesel. To date I have replcaed all glow plugs, all fuel lines and filters, air filter and have done an EGR modification. I also just recently installed a set of 17" E sport wheels from an 01 model w210.

Hey, I thought your screen name looked familiar. (BTW- I decided not to get those simulated sheepskins after all.) That's a good model you have there. Many consider the W124 with the OM606 engine to be the last MB made that had reliability, quality, and easy for the DIYer to work on, and personally, I hope to one day have a 1995 E300D, they look so nice. Only 104k miles? You haven't even broken it in yet. I've heard that the OM606 is just as bulletproof of an engine as the OM61x engines from the 80's and earlier. It'll run forever provided you don't abuse it. Welcome.
