Smile Zerex G-05 Coolant

Just recently acquired a 1984 300SD with 183K on the clock. Car runs good, good compression and is in overall great shape. Bought it from the original owner. Seems like its never been driven in the northeast salt. Question is I would like to know if the Zerex G-05 antifreeze is safe to use in the cooling system. It is an OTC coolant and was wondering if it is compatible with these motors. I know using it in others medium to heavy duty diesels does not require the addition of any SCA's. Any thoughts? Thanks. Mark

Zerex G-05 is perfect. It is what's specified for MB cooling systems since it's the same MB brand coolant you can buy at the dealer, just repackaged.
