c 220 cdi - alternator problem

Hy all.
I have a c 220 cdi, w203 from 2001. It is a fine care. But like a month ago I started having black smoke problems. It smoked a little when I put the ignition on, or when I accelerated it. I thought it was from the injectors so i bought aditives at each refueling. Last week I heard a noise when I turned tha wheels to a maximum left or right. That day, that noise disapierd. After another day Apeared the same noise when starting, and with power loss. I went to mercedes, and they told me that it's about my alternator. Tha mobile part of it must be changed. I'm waiting till wendsday to do this. But could this also be related to the smoke?? I alos understood that the smoke could come from my turbo charger. A guy took a look at mi turbo and said the axe inside has a small movement, and the tube has a little oil on.

Any ideeas??
