Which oil are ya'll running in the 617 during winter months? I'm in NJ so was going to stick with Rotella 15w40. Should I drop down to something like 15w30 instead? It's outside all the time with most driving being 20-25 minute trips.

Winter Oil
15w40 rotella is a great oil but that is a summer oil, try to find a 10w30 oil for the winter. Make sure it is a diesel oil though, regular gasoline oil does not have the soot control that diesel oil has.

I didn't think Rotella was available in 10w30. Are you running something other than rotella? Thanks.
